State Finals is North Carolina Senior Games’ state championship for more than 70 sports and arts activities. Participants must qualify at a Local Games for the opportunity to experience the 22 days of competition with over 3000 other registered participants from Murphy to Manteo.

Since the inaugural State Finals in 1985, this event has become a celebration in the truest sense of the word. Participants & volunteers showcase their talents, enjoy being active, renew old skills and learn new ones. Perhaps most important of all, it exemplifies the Spirit of Senior Games as it joins people of all ages in the Senior Games Family.

State Finals participants must qualify at a Local Games.

State Finals 2021 Qualification: All participants must qualify through an NCSG sanctioned Local Senior Games program. Local Games participants who complete their sport event(s) and score – virtually or in-person -- will qualify for State Finals. Qualification for SilverArts remains: Performing-best in show, Heritage and Visual-Places 1-3, Literary places 1-2.
